We're thrilled to finally have a part of the game in the public's hands, and have been genuinely blown away by the outfits made! ❤️ We're also very touched by the positive response and heartwarming feedback we've received!
Thank you to everyone who has tried the demo so far, and also to those who have brought a few important issues to our attention. We've been busy picking out the most pressing issues, and have now rolled out a game update on Steam that will address some common complaints (among other things).
Please note: Some cosmetics have been changed to support recoloring. This means existing saves and published outfits could now look incorrect if they use those items.
Changelog:
Controls Row hotkeys now hide when a pop-up window is open
Added save file tampering prevention. Cosmetics are now cross-checked with their intended category in the dataset to prevent manual saved data edits that could equip multiple items in the same slot, or in incorrect slots.
The 'Pencil' item is now recolorable and has a fixed texture
Item descriptions for 'Plunger', 'Police Cap', and various teeth items were updated.
Game settings like 'Brightness', 'Global Illumination', 'Anti-Aliasing', etc., should now apply properly in the Wardrobe.
The 'Royal Crown' item can now deform certain hairstyles a bit
Replaced various missing or 'FIXME' placeholder icons for Swatches
Default Stuffy cosmetics (bear ears, beady eyes, matte nose) should no longer disappear as often at certain zoomed camera angles.
The 'Alien Ship' cosmetic now forces all Torso category items to be disabled when worn, as this caused extreme clipping with most clothing.
Increased performance of the Global Illumination effect
Added game setting to toggle 'Run in Background'
Fixed Workshop menu's 'Featured' tab, originally broken from Demo-specific Steam limitations
'Starry Plush' is now primary and secondary recolorable
'Floppy Ears' are now properly recolorable, with a redundant swatch removed.
Increased resolution of 'Insect Wings' textures.
'Mushroom Hat' is now primary and secondary recolorable, with a redundant swatch removed.
'Ram' skin, 'Goat Ears', 'Goat Fur Tuft', 'Goat Nub' tail, and 'Ram Horns' are all now recolorable.
Added a hotkey action to clone a placed Stamp to your cursor without needing to pick it up.
Reduced cooldown time between selecting Toolbar actions, such as Surprise Pick and Reset Stuffy (from 0.8s to 0.25s)
Added the ability to re-click an active toolbar tool as a way to exit/disable it.
Fixed an issue where the Stamp hover effect could get stuck active when switching tools during a hover.
Removed redundant double-closing of the Design Tool's window, causing possible softlock issues.
Added the option to click outside of a pop-up window to close it, if that window allows manual closing. This only applies to certain notification window types.
'Cat Tail' is now primary and secondary recolorable
Fixed an issue where the in-game Workshop menu was listing older items at the top of the list while scrolling.
A loading spinner effect now appears when fetching extra rows of Wardrobe content while scrolling down.
Improved pasting of full hex color values in the design tool panel.
'Basketball Shorts' is now primary and secondary recolorable, with a redundant swatch removed.
Increased icon resolution for preset saved outfits
The dedicated Steam Workshop page for this demo should now appear, allowing you to do more online actions. This also restores the in-game 'View Online' button for outfits you don't own.
+ other minor adjustments and fixes!
