When we created this little group in 2014, we never could have anticipated how much it would grow over the coming years. It's truly humbling to have such an amazing and dedicated community following and supporting our progress. Your comments, questions, and fan art inspire us all to continue doing what we're doing. Today, we're excited to announce that we're evolving yet again. And today, we want to share this new evolution with you.
As we close out 2022 we're looking ahead to the new year, our future as content creators, and how we represent ourselves. After taking the massive step of registering as a company earlier this year, we've put a lot of work into developing a brand that can support both our future content (such as Restitched), and also the talented people that are creating it. We've spent the last few months carefully discussing, conceptualizing, and creating a brand-new Trixel Creative... and now, we want to introduce you to it!
Introducing our new look... Our new logo resembles a shooting star, which we feel represents our playful, ambitious, and explorative nature as well as bright ideas, fairytales, and creativity. At Trixel Creative, we're shooting for the stars. Trixel Creative is all about diversity and inclusivity - and showcasing these for everyone to see. While the 'Earth' logo was a more literal representation of this idea, we feel like this refined design is less cluttered, easier to scale, and has a pinch more uniqueness and magic.
We've also included an element of neomorphism with the shooting star sitting above our star border, separated by a soft gradient to give the appearance of depth. With this design language becoming more prominent, this change brings Trixel Creative into the modern age.
We've chosen to keep our signature star border and coral shade, as it's uniquely identifiable as Trixel Creative.
We plan to roll out this redesign quickly, but in the meantime, you will likely see our old logos floating around as we work to update everything and have search engines recache. We will also be removing the 'Store' page and its outdated merchandise until the update is considered complete.
Because the main typeface for Trixel Creative has been changed, we've also made changes to the trixel+ logo. Though it's largely the same, you'll see this new logo roll out across Patreon over time.
In regards to our previous content - this change will not be instant, and not every example of our old logo will undergo a change to its design. For instance, the Restitched Reveal Trailer from July of this year will remain untouched. You may also notice reiterations and improvements as we fully settle into our new look.
